Man killed after being hit by train

ALRODE – On April 14 at Mpilisweni train station Alrode near old Vereeniging Road, a man died after a train hit him.

The police removed the body but provided no further comment about the incident.

On April 16, Sergeant Nkuna of SAPS Alberton said the police is still investigating.

The victim has not been identified yet and it is not known what happened, whether is had been an accident or whether the man had jumped in front of the train.
