Hot cross buns and jewellery at Women’s Connection

Throughout the meeting the ladies enjoyed hot cross buns in line of Easter and tea and coffee.

Alberton Women’s Connection held their meeting on April 9 with a feature speaker and a guest speaker at the Brackenhurst Bowling Club.

Diane Smuts, an independent jeweller for the Fifth Avenue Collection, spoke on jewellery and how it should be bought in accordance with a person’s facial structure.

Rina Mulder spoke about her life story, knowing God and then building a relationship with Him. She suffered from cancer and through the grace of God, today she is healthy and cancer free, able to teach and inspire through her story.

Throughout the meeting the ladies enjoyed hot cross buns in line of Easter and tea and coffee.

The next Women’s Connection meeting will be held on May 14 at the Brackenhurst Bowling Club, corner of Albert and Malherbe streets at 09:00 for 09:15. Entrance is R35 per person.

Keith Russel, a trauma counsellor, will address the meeting, after which the ladies will enjoy refreshments and listen to Else Denysschen talk about her different coat of colours.
