Yellow and red balloons were released on May 29 for Ascension day in the Alberton area.
CHILDREN celebrated ascension day at a pre-school in Doncaster Street on May 29.
The children released balloons with a gospel message attached at the end of a ribbon that was tied to each of the balloons.
The message read: “Jesus is risen.” The children were also read a bible story and all sang a Christian song.
All the children of Treasure Tots were excited to receive their balloon to be released into the sky.
Each child received a balloon and after they prayed, they let go their balloons and sang a children’s Christian song.
