Each one of us wants to be happy

Looking for happoness? Be inspired by Pastor Clive's message.

Discover:

To discover your happiness you must first discover what pleases you, that place where your heart jumps for joy. This is the first clue.

Follow your instincts; they are within you for a reason. They are signposts to an exciting and fulfilling life. There is a journey and adventure ahead, no matter what your age or circumstances are, you are being called and opportunities will always make themselves available to you when you follow this call.

But when you follow this call every cell in your body is alive. There is a complication of life and consciousness. Even if things are collapsing all around you, you feel invincible, like a warrior on a chariot and everything around you is saying yes.

You may not know what your next step is, but the adventure has begun and what an adventure. Fortunate favours you, providence a sequence of events that happen when you have the courage to heed the call. You will find that doors open, opportunities appear and helping hands are offered every step of the way. Does this not surprise you?

It should not, for you are being guided by the inner spirit that is alive deep within you, and following that spirit will lead you to happiness.

Practise following and pursuing your uniqueness. This is your first call and is also your gift to the world. The voice within sees not just what is best for you but also how you can contribute to the greater whole.

Family and love:

When love dies in a family it is a great tragedy. As Christians we revere Christ and this brings into our families a continuous love. None of us lives for himself only, none of us dies for himself only, Romans 14:7.

Men ought to love their own wives just as they love their own bodies. A man who loves his wife, loves himself (no one ever hates his own body). Instead, he feeds it and takes care of the church (for we are members of his body) as the scripture says.

“For this reason, a man will leave his father and mother, and unite with his wife, and the two will become one.”

There is a great truth revealed in this scripture, and I understand and it applies to Christ and the church. But it also applies to you. Every husband must love his wife as himself and wife must respect her husband. Ephesians 5:28-33. See you next time for: The love between husband and how it extends to the children.
