Impi Fighting Championship at the Lyric Theatre
Tryouts were held for Gauteng fighters, and the best fighters were selected to entertain the audience.
IMPI Fighting Championship is a programme initiated to bring mixed martial arts to the right people and give upcoming and existing fighters a chance to grow their careers.
The championship is a mixed martial arts combat sport fight league that combines techniques from various martial arts disciplines including: Boxing, Wrestling, Muaythai, Judo, Sambo, Karate, Jiu-Jitsu, Taekwondo, Savate, San-Shou and Kick Boxing.
It features innovative concepts that gives a format of thrill and entertainment to enjoy and follow much like other competitive and renowned sports in the world.
Tryouts were held for Gauteng fighters and the best fighters were selected to entertain the audience all afternoon from 14:00 till late, on Sunday August 3.
The founder of the Impi Fighting Championship, Mr Vuyisile “The Cheetah” Colossa was born in Welkom, Free State and has fought every big fish in the water. No fighter could withstand him in South Africa and he decided to start fighting in Hong Kong.
