Scholar rapist to appear in court

PALMRIDGE – A 47-year-old cleaner at Palmridge Combined School will appear in the Palmridge Magistrate Court on July 29 for the alleged rape of a 12-year-old learner at the school.

According to the police report, the man is charged for the rape of the girl on Thursday June 12, just before the school holidays. He was arrested on the same day.
