Mandela Day fun at Rietvlei

ST MARY'S CHILDREN'S HOME: Seef and Rietvlei Zoo farm work together to entertain the children of St Mary's

Johannesburg South – Seeff Johanessburg South and Rietvlei Zoo Farm have come together to give back to their community on Madela day.

They hosted a day filled with fun for the children of St Mary’s Children’s Home. The day was filled with activities like pony rides, tractor rides and a jumping castle.

Seeff also collected food, clothes and toys for the children’s home and donated it on the day.

Seef representative Patricia Rodrigues explained that they wanted to do a little more than just 67 minutes on such a special day. The children enjoyed more or less three hours of activities and had lunch with the Seeff team.

The Rietvlei Zoo Farm sponsored the lapa, rides and other activities for the day.

Patrica explained that both Seef and Rietvlei Zoo farm and their owners do a lot of community work and enjoy working with St Mary’s Children’s Home. They support them in different ways throughout the year and thought it would be good to enjoy some time with the children’s home on Mandela Day as well.
