Giving chase on foot leads to arrest
A suspect who allegedly wanted to steal electrical cables was noticed on the Boma's property. He has been caught after a chase on foot in Ring Road.
THE CPS security team received a call from one of their security officers located at the Boma.
The security officer requested assistance after he noticed a suspicious man entering the property.
The suspect had a back pack, and was making his way to one of the buildings on the Boma’s grounds. The suspect attempted to steal electrical cables.
Two reaction officers were able to apprehend the suspect after a chase on foot in Ring Road. The man was taken into custody by Alberton SAPS and a case was opened.
