Pedestrain knocked over on Klipriver Drive off-ramp

PARAMEDICS and other services responded to a pedestrian accident on the R59 at the Klipriver Drive off-ramp in Alberton on August 10.

Upon their arrival on the scene paramedics found a 29-year-old woman in a critical condition after she was knocked over by a motor vehicle.

The critically injured woman was treated on the scene and rushed to hospital for urgent medical care.

Exact detail to the cause of the accident and preceding events will remain the subject of a police investigation.
