On August 27, the Brackendowns SAPS celebrated women’s month by distributing pamphlets in various sector areas.
The purpose of the project was to create awareness for women’s month. The SAPS drove and walked around Mayberry Park, Meyersdal and other surrounding areas.
These pamphlets were either distributed in post boxes or given out to individuals who were driving by or walking in the neighbourhoods.
The various tips included safety at home, safety at business premises and how to survive a hijacking situation.
