Gramma Seva and Medical Camp

Councillor Samantha Nair thanks all for their support

Eden Park – “The more you serve others, the more you serve yourself” was the theme of the Palm Ridge Gramma Seva as it invited the communities of Palm Ridge, Eden Park, Greenfields and the surrounding areas to a medical camp on September 7 at the Palm Ridge Secondary School.

The Medical Camp provided free service to the communities and had acquired eight doctors, ten dentists, ten optometrists, eight pharmacists, nurses and sevadals.

All the patients, after receiving free medical services, were supplied with free food, hampers, medication and blankets.

“On behalf of the Gramma Seva and the community, I want to thank all the medical service providers for offering their free service, the principal Mr Singh for offering the school building and all the communities who came to make the event a possibility,” said Councillor Samantha Nair.

“Hands that serve are holier than lips that pray”.
