Dedication pays off

ALBERTON – Sergant Phumza Mgedezi’s dedication and hard work paid off, as she won the SAPS Woman of the Year Award for the Gauteng Province.
“Our Social Crime Prevention official made Alberton SAPS proud again,” said Sgt Nkuna, the Alberton SAPS spokesperson.
The award ceremony took place at the Birchwood hotel in Boksburg on October 4.
Sgt Mgedezi won the first prize, a floating trophy for the Women of the Year, a personal trophy and a voucher from Educon.
She also received an invitation to be part of the Women’s Conference that will be taking place in Cape Town from October 11 to 16.
