NASREC – Beginning Friday morning October 24, Jehovah’s Witnesses will highlight a connection between family values and the teachings of Jesus Christ during a three-day convention entitled “Keep Seeking First God’s Kingdom!” to be held at Johannesburg Expo Centre in Nasrec.

The Witnesses are extending an open invitation to all to attend lively discussions of Jesus’ words: “Keep on, then, seeking first the Kingdom.” The programme will also examine how those words of Jesus can be of special interest to families. An example of this will be the program part featured on Friday afternoon entitled “Teach Your Children to Love God’s Kingdom!”

The multi-language convention on October 24 to 26 will be held in Afrikaans, Chinese, English, French, Sesotho and Xhosa and over 35 000 delegates are expected to attend. The programme sessions will begin at 09:20 on all three days of the convention.

Jehovah’s Witnesses invite people of all ages to attend. Admission is free. Conventions of Jehovah’s Witnesses are supported entirely by voluntary donations.

Jehovah’s Witnesses in South Africa plan to host 61 conventions in 30 cities and towns. Worldwide, there are over 8 000 000 Witnesses in more than 113 000 congregations.
