Local business reaches out to primary school

Time for high school: Deserving learners receive high school uniforms

ALBERTON – Security Experts from Brackendowns gave a helping hand this Sunday when they sponsored Thembalethy Primary School. The donation was for school uniforms for learners leaving school for high school and who can’t afford the new school uniforms. It was a very festive and happy sight that greeted them when they arrived at the school on Sunday in the poor township of Thokoza.

This relationship between the business and the school started in 2009, when Security Experts was contacted by the principal Mr Phillip for some security work to be done at the school. That was the early days, when they had just started with Security Experts in Alberton, and that was life-saving for the business. Since then the company had many dealings with the school.

When they heard of the ceremony for performing children, they felt that they had to contribute and give back to the community, and the school who made use of their services. “Security Experts are thankful that we are in a position to give back to the community, we are blessed in our business and therefore we want to bless back. Good luck to the children,” said Van Niekerk.
