EMPD to host prayer session

As a reminder to be safe over the festive season, EMPD will be hosting a prayer session, to pray for the safety of road users during this time.

ALBERTON – Apart from pleasurable festivities, the festive season is also branded by a high number of fatal road accidents that claim the lives of thousands and in other cases leave victims seriously injured with disabilities.

It is against this backdrop that the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Police Department will host a Festive Season prayer session on November 20.

Various denominations and faith based organisations have been invited to join hands in prayer against the high rate of accidents and for a reduction of fatalities on the roads.

The details of the Freeway Festive Season Prayer will take place at the Brackenhurst Hall located in Hennie Alberts Street at 10:00.
