Young woman dies after car accident in Mulbarton
A young woman lost her life in a car accident on Saturday December 6, early evening, on True North Road, Mulbarton.

MULBARTON – It’s believed there was no other vehicle involved in the fatal accident and the woman died instantly.
There have been many complaints from local residents regarding True North Road and the speed motorists drive.
Mario Stelli says, “This young woman lost her life on Saturday, although we don’t know if she was driving too fast. I would like our ward councillor, Paul Smit, to once again convey a message to Johannesburg Roads Agency (JRA) from all the angry residents, that we compliment JRA for another fatality on a road that they deem as being safe and does not require any calming measures. Do they perhaps have a target of X number of deaths and injuries before they decide to take action?
“What does JRA want the community to do in order to convince them that this road is a dangerous road and that some form of calming measures are required urgently? Do we need to mobilise the residents to protest or to march and block off the road in order to make our point? Do we implement our own calming measures? Please ask them what must be done to convince them!
“In the meantime, the road is clocking up injuries and deaths and we as residents are no longer prepared to accept this situation. We again demand that JRA take our request seriously and that immediate action be taken.”
