580 kg pet food donated
The crew at La Fonté Hair and Beauty, with the help of their patrons, were able to collect 580kg of pet food for the SPCA.
ALBERTON – The initiative was sparked by Terry Morris and Gerhard Barkhuizen. The salon usually has specials over the festive season. This time they thought they might as well incorporate a charitable act with their specials.
Patrons of the salon were given a cut or massage for free if they brought in a bag of pet food.
According to the salon owner Michelle Botha, they will be doing this annually now after the support they have received from their clients.
