Potholes: End in sight?
Potholes have been plaguing the streets of Alberton for over a year, but it looks as if the problem may be resolved soon.
Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality spokesperson Themba Gadebe issued this statement:
“The municipality has since last year been engaging with a reputable private company regarding a partnership to address the challenge of potholes. The partnership will be announced very soon and work will begin in earnest to respond to the challenge of potholes. The municipality views the matter as serious and it is confident that the pending partnership will be effective to turn the situation around.”
Hopefully this partnership will improve the situation soon.
