Beat the fear – be cancer aware
Knowledge is power. Information is liberating. Education is the premise of progress, in every society, in every family. - Koffi Annan
If you are affected by cancer, whether you are a patient, a family member, a friend, or simply want to know more about cancer, you are invited to attend an Awareness Day at the Netcare Oncology Centre at Clinton Hospital on Friday February 13.
Gauteng Oncology joined forces with Stepping Stone Hospice & Care Services, CANSA, Reach for Recovery and Netcare Radiation Department to put together a day that brings you answers and showcases various support services. It also gives you an opportunity to show your support and take part in the Shavathon and Sprayathon.
Each visitor will receive a goody bag, tea and cake will be served and there will be chance to win some great prizes by partaking in various raffles.
You are welcome to come around any time between 12:00 and 18:00 on Friday February 13, at the Netcare Oncology Centre, 62 Clinton Rd, New Redruth, Alberton.
Please RSVP: Lauren Cilliers, 079 268 7662 or la_leigh@msn.com
