Gauteng ANC spokesperson dies in Alberton

Gauteng ANC spokesperson Dumisa Ntuli was killed in a car crash near his home in Albertsdal, early on Sunday Morning, February 8.

Gauteng ANC announced the news of Dumisa Ntuli’s passing on their twitter page.

Ntuli was described as a humble, dedicated and diligent servant of his people.

Gauteng ANC Secretary Hope Papo was quoted, “Comrade Dumisa cut his political teeth as one of the founding members of the Congress of South African Students (COSAS) in 1979.”

For those who worked with him, they will remember his commitment and selflessness in service to his movement and people.

The Democratic Alliance (DA) in Gauteng expressed shock at the passing of Ntuli.

DA Provincial Leader John Moodey said in a statement, “The DA passes its most sincere condolences to the family of Ntuli, who tragically lost his life in a car accident in Ekurhuleni this morning.”

The DA Gauteng and Mr Ntuli regularly engaged over a number of political and ideological issues.

Moodey described the rivalry as ‘based on professionalism and mutual respect’.

Ntuli was a man deeply loyal to the ANC, and he worked long, hard and irregular hours in service of his organisation – we are certain that his loss will be widely felt.
