FRIPPERY: The tables were trimmed with themed decorations and delicious snacks.

CELEBRATION: The Alberton Ladies Choir hosted the event. The choir was formally established in January 2002 and has been practicing every Thursday evening since. Community members provided the entertainment for the party with performances from the Ladies choir; the Jiswa training centre’s marimba band, local singers and musicians. EAT ME: The tea party had a Mad Hatter theme. All attending showed their fine feathers.

SENIOR: Mrs Corrie Wynbeek, who is 102 years old, attended the tea party.

VOCALIST: Natasha Nepgen performed two songs at the party.

BONNET: Mrs Carla Blauw came to the Mad Hatter’s tea party in a handsome black hat with a red rose.

COIFFURE: Mrs Sylvia van der Walt and Mrs Lie Potgieter showed their hats off at the Mad Hatter’s tea party.
