Peanut turns 3

ALBERTON – Peanut is Adri Louw’s adopted dog. Adri adopted him three years ago and in celebration of his adoption she hosts a birthday party for him every year.

Like previous years she hosted a fun walk, with all the proceeds going to the SPCA. This year’s theme was Pink Panther. The event was held at the Alberton Rugby Club and was well attended.

People with all breeds of dogs joined in for the walk, followed by competitions and treats on sale. Dogs could be entered in various competitions.

The staff and committee would like to extend a huge thank you to the Alberton Rugby Club for hosting them, the stall holders, everyone who sponsored items, all the volunteers, and lastly everyone that attended.
