ALBERTON – This year the theme was Amazingly African. Those who attended this prestigious event enjoyed an evening filled with musical entertainment; some of the acts that made this event one to remember were Gangs of Ballet and The Soweto Gospel Choir.

Alberton RECORD was one of the finalists for the Paper of the Year for the second year running, and the Alberton RECORD team won the Digital Story Teller of the Year Award for their coverage of the N12 accident.
