Caring for those who are suffering

WOW (Women of Worth) members held their May meeting at Browsers Garden Centre, Alberton, recently.

ALBERTON – The guest speaker was Tersia Burger from Stepping Stone Hospice and Care Services and she spoke about why she opened the centre in Alberton.

“I made a promise to my daughter before she passed away, and who was the first patient at Stepping Stone Hospice, to carry on the good work and to offer services to anyone who has been diagnosed with a life limiting illness and cannot be cured,” said Tersia.

WOW members made a small donation to Stepping Stone Hospice in the hope it will further assist them with the care they offer their patients.
