‘Meat’ the competition prize winner
Chantel Vasconcelos recently won a prize for her morther at Meat World Alberton.
ALBERTON – “She has so much faith that she knew she was going to win,” Chantel’s mother Ana Maria explains.
According to Ana Maria, they were at the till and Chantel insisted that they enter the competition. While she only wanted to enter once, Chantel reminded her mother that she could enter a few times if they have separate slips.
They broke up their purchase into seven smaller purchases and Lady Luck smiled upon the family. Thanks to Chantel, the girl with a lot of faith, and Meat World Alberton, the family will be going on a fun filled holiday.
The prize is well deserved as Chantel has given so much to those around her. Her father passed away in 2011 and since then, she spends every Christmas Eve in the oncology ward at the Glenwood Hospital.
When asked where they are going on holiday, Ana Maria says that they have not decided yet.
