Car show in aid of four legged friends

A school project raised almost R5 000 for the Adora-Bull Terrier Rescue and Rehabilitation centre.

Almost R5 000 was raised on Saturday, July 25, when Grade 10 learners from Hoërskool Dinamika gave up their time in order to give back to the community.

Leoni Wentzel, a parent who helped organise the day’s activities, said the money which was raised will be donated to Adora-Bull Terrier Rescue and Rehabilitation centre, a non-profit organisation from Vereeniging which assists in the rescue and re-homing of Bull Terriers.

“The project is about giving back through Ubuntu, a Zulu term meaning human kindness, this Mandela month.”

There were plenty of vehicles on display, various stalls to browse and people were encouraged to donate dog food, blankets and dog treats.

For more information on how you can still help with this project, contact Leoni on 072 950 3073.
