Property in the spotlight at forum meeting

Guests and members had the opportunity to ask questions and discuss issues with the two knowledgeable speakers

ALBERTON- It was all about property when the professionals talked about the pitfalls and risks when it comes to buying, selling and development at this month’s Alberton Business Forum (ABF) meeting.

The meeting took place at Reading Country Club on Thursday, August 20, at 04:30, and guests and members had an opportunity to ask questions and discuss issues with the two knowledgeable speakers.

Sean Brown from Brown Attorneys discussed the legal pitfalls in buying and selling property. He touched on zoning and the rights of the buyer and seller, and gave the audience advice in terms of the law. Brown is also the chairman of the ABF.

The owner of Coleman Properties, Trevor Coleman, spoke about risks in developing properties and what people have to be aware of in terms of investing in property and augmenting them.
