Four injured in collsion
A driver was ejected about 15 metres from his vehicle after a high-speed head-on collision opposite the Mall of the South.
ALBERTON – Kevin Peel, spokesperson for National Paramedical Services (NPS), said four people were injured.
“It appears that two vehicles were speeding when the collision happened at the intersection of Swartkoppies Road and Kliprivier Drive at around midnight on October 2.”
He said a vehicle allegedly skipped a red traffic light which led to the collision.
“A severely injured driver was found a few metres from his vehicle and was transported to the Netcare Union Hospital.”
Three other passengers were taken to the Chris Hani-Baragwanath Hospital.
