No Relay for Life in Alberton this year

ALBERTON – The Cancer Association of South Africa (CANSA) has announced that the Relay for Life event in Alberton has been cancelled. The relay was planned to take place on Saturday, October 24.

According to Sharon Britz, a CANSA Relay For Life staff partner, Alberton residents who would like to participate in a relay can attend the East Rand community relay which is planned for March 4, 2016.

According to CANSA East Rand administrative support officer, Tamara Wittstock, CANSA has cancelled the event due to circumstances out of their control.
