Afternoon rain expected

The South African Weather Services (SAWS) are predicting a bit of rain for this afternoon.

Mbavhi Maliage, a weather forecaster, told the RECORD that there is a slight chance of thunderstorms.

No warnings have been issued about the a possibility of hail although there is always a chance during a thunderstorm.

Mbavhi said there is more chance of rain and thunderstorms tomorrow. A 30 per cent chance of rain is predicted for Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

The weather temperatures for the week:

• Tuesday: minimum 16 and a maximum of 28.

• Wednesday: minimum 14 and a maximum of 27.

• Thursday: minimum 13 and a maximum of 27.

• Friday: minimum 14 and a maximum of 28.

• Saturday: minimum 16 and a maximum of 31.
