The smallest extension in Eden Park, Extension 4, in little Germiston, celebrated a community party on December 16. The party, attended by parents and children, was celebrated on Yamaha Street.
The event was organised by residence committee members who obtained sponsorships from local shops, taverns, King’s Corner, and Coca-Cola, who supplied the drinks.
The committee thanked all the sponsors and concluded that their aim is to make the event an annual one. The children enjoyed themselves in the inflated swimming pools in the scorching heat, while others enjoyed the jumping castle supplied by a kind gentleman only known as ‘Gapsie’. Big pots of food were cooked to feed the multitude of residents.
