“Please, please come and fix my water meter which has been wasting many litres of precious water for the past two months. I have reported the faulty leaking meter, but Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality never send anyone to come and repair the meter,” said a tearful Margaret Stalie.

“EMM is constantly reminding all residents to save water and to use it very sparingly, but yet, clean, precious water has been running down Borgward Street and into Abraham Street for the past two months,” Margaret continued.

At the time of going to print, the EMM have not come back to the RECORD with a comment.
