
ALTHOUGH humans come across stressful and worrying situations almost every single day of their lives, life is more about positivity and happiness than the opposite.
Do not allow your brain to spend an entire week or day just stressing about work, kids, debts, health and things you have no full control over. Try your hardest to distract yourself from your stressful moments with stress-free practices.
Here are my tips:
1. Take a walk – This is something a lot of people do not do often but it works all the time. From time to time when I am consumed by stress from work and personal challenges, I simply walk away. It’s like you’ve just moved to another planet. Within five minutes of distraction, you will feel a lot better and you can continue with whatever you were doing.
2. Eat – Not too much to cause a health problem. But snacking on or licking your favourite ice cream with your eyes closed can help you escape from the world your live in now, and into some peaceful thoughts.
3. Laugh. Do you still remember those moments you were angry but witnessed something very funny or heard the craziest joke and you almost laughed your lungs out? Yes, it works. The internet is full of clips that can crack you up within seconds, get into the habit of finding funny content on a daily basis.
