Climbing the tough music ladder
ERROL Adams, a 39-year-old musician, has now released his debut album, after years of playing in his late father's band, in Alfa Street.
ERROL Adams, a 39-year-old from Palmridge Extension Three, has now released his debut album, after years of playing in his late father’s band, in Alfa Street.
“This is my first CD; it consists of 10 tracks based on soul music and is entitled ‘I love you’, or ‘Ngiyakuthanda’,” he said.
“The title track, ‘Never give up’, is based on personal inspiration and will be loved by music lovers.”
This artist told the RECORD that he composed all the songs on his CD, which was recorded in a Phola Park recording studio. He is presently going door-to-door selling the disc.
“My wife and I are both unemployed and we are trying our best to sell the CDs. I just hope and pray that we can get a sponsor to market my CD,” he added.
“My late father taught me music and, ever since, I have been in love with music. I just need someone to help me sell my music.”
