Angels cases postponed

The RECORD tried to find out why the cases were postponed.

THE first appearance of suspects in the Palmridge Magistrate’s Court, in the case of alleged assault of the homeless was scheduled for Wednesday, September 15.

With the investigating officer being off sick, the case has been postponed and the date will be confirmed.

Jennie Bernard from Angels 4 Addicts told the RECORD in the article on September 14 that after the attacks against vulnerable people became just too much to bear, she offered to assist the homeless in opening cases as per the direction given from the station commander at Alberton SAPS.

The RECORD will keep readers up to date.
