Offering for breast cancer awareness

Special guests on the occasion were cancer survivors Elizabeth Botha and Shirley Basson.

CANCER survivors were invited to the annual Breast Cancer Awareness event which was hosted by pastor Lea Walburgh of Trinity Faith Centre on Sunday, October 16 in Honda Street, Eden Park.

Special guests on the occasion were cancer survivors Elizabeth Botha and Shirley Basson.

Women from various denominations were invited to hear testimonies of survivors. The guest speakers were Natalie Abrahams and Michelle Platten from Cape Town.

Offerings were made at the event and the collected amount was handed over to Cansa Alberton.

“The congregation wants to thank everyone for their support. We as pastors teach our congregations the word of God but they also need to be taught how to keep their bodies healthy. A healthy church is a healthy community,” said pastor Lea Walburgh.
