NATIONAL NEWS: Man extricated from truck

Authorities were on scene for further investigations.

A driver had to be extricated from a vehicle following a crash at Pomona and Albatross roads in Kempton Park on Thursday October 20. ER24 paramedics as well as other services, attended the accident.

Upon arrival, paramedics found that two trucks had collided. The driver of one of the trucks, believed to be in his 40’s, was trapped inside the vehicle.

Fire and Rescue from Kempton Park extricated the man from the truck with rescue tools.

Upon assessment, it was found that he’d sustained moderate injuries. He was treated and transported to hospital by ER24, for further medical care.

The exact cause of the accident is unknown.
