Two vehicles collide on Klipriver Road

TWO motor vehicles (a car and a bakkie) were involved in an accident, after one allegedly tried to overtake the other.

At around 07:15 on Thursday, November 17, the vehicles, which were travelling along Klipriver Road (in the same direction), collided and rolled across the centre island, into oncoming traffic; fortunately no other vehicles were involved.

“Four people sustained injuries, ranging from minor to moderate; two required advanced life support care and were transported by EMER-G-MED to a nearby hospital, while the other two were taken by other services,” says Max Cohen, EMER-G-MED’s spokesperson.

A source involved at the scene mentioned to the RECORD that it looked like a road rage incident, but presumably an investigation will take place to determine what actually happened.
