ROAD widening is planned for Alberton in the near future, so all parties affected are asked to get involved with the public participation aspects thereof.

It’s not certain which department is the source of the plans, but it seems that a stretch of a little over one and a half kilometres will be the focus; extending from Ring Road East and the K89, along Kritzinger Street, Van Rensburg Street, bi-secting Alberton CBD, Verwoerdpark and Florentia.

Anyone who would like to get involved, can contact Ward Councillors Bruna Haipel or Tiaan Kotze.

Bruna Haipel can be reached on: 082 454 6956; Tiaan Kotze on: 079 893 8404.

Electronic copies for the planned changes are available on request, from the Lokisa Environmental Consulting CC offices, 72 Herbert Baker Street, Groenkloof, Pretoria, 0181.

Alternatively phone 012 346 7655, or send a fax to 012 346 6074; or email elaine@lokisa.co.za; or faith@lokisa.co.za or matimu@lokisa.co.za

Objections and comments must reach the above mentioned, by no later than February 1, 2017.
