Tarmac goes green

“If I could, I would fix it myself, because Heaven knows it takes forever to get done."

RESIDENTS who live near the Gatwick Park Circle in New Redruth have been noticing that grass is growing through the road surface due to grass not being removed after it has been cut.

Estelle Visser comments: “They cut the grass, but then it just lays around in the streets. The grass seeds sprout in the tar and it’s going to cause problems if it does not stop,” she says.

As a former councillor, Estelle is used to deal with issues such as this. “If I could, I would fix it myself, because Heaven knows it takes forever to get done,” she says, frustrated.

The RECORD is awaiting comment from EMM.
