Contents of house burn to ashes

MEYERSDAL – The ground floor of a home in the Meyersdal Eco Estate burnt to shreds last weekend, although the cause of the fire is unknown.

Trevor Coleman and his wife were sleeping when their dogs started barking. They woke up to smoke and a burning smell in the air; only to find that their house was on fire.

Forensics went to investigate on October 11, although they suspected electric wiring to have started the spark which led to a fire.

Thankfully nobody was injured during the fire and it also never spread to the first floor.
