BREAKING NEWS: Homeless man’s body found in Alberton North
According to a friend, he was ill and had pus-filled sores covering his skin.

A BODY was found on the corner of Louis Trichardt and Van Riebeeck streets, in Alberton North, at about 9am on June 1.
The deceased was a homeless man who passed away on the sidewalk, wrapped up in blankets.
According to a friend, he was ill and had pus-filled sores covering his skin. He said they contacted an ambulance yesterday, but the ambulance could not locate the man and left. They also contacted the nearby police for help, but they said they were busy and would not be able to attend to the situation.
A resident called and notified the RECORD that the body was still not removed.
The RECORD is awaiting comment from the Alberton SAPS.
