Golf membership winner has an ‘Eye’ for golf

Mall of the South Centre Management and Eye of Africa Signature Golf Estate are pleased to announce that Alexander Mogridge was randomly selected and has won the Eye of Africa Signature Golf Club membership.

MALL of the South hosted the Father’s Day Motor and Gadgets Show recently, featuring an array of vehicles. Further to the show, shoppers had to spend R250 or more, at any of the Mall of the South’s stores, to stand a chance of winning an Eye of Africa Signature Golf Club membership valued at R20 000.

Mall of the South centre management and Eye of Africa Signature Golf Estate are pleased to announce that Alexander Mogridge was randomly selected and has won the Eye of Africa Signature Golf Club membership.

CONGRATULATIONS: Jason Viljoen and Alexander Mogridge.

Mogridge said, “I can’t believe it. It’s amazing. I would like to thank the waitress at Rocomamas for encouraging me to enter the competition.”

Mogridge used to be a member at Eye of Africa Signature Golf Estate and even won the Club Champion Men’s A Division in 2012.

GREAT PRIZE: Hester Smith, Alexander Mogridge, Hein Papenfus and Krystal Coconas (marketing and communications manager, Mall of the South).

On Tuesday, July 4, Hein Papenfus, the newly appointed Eye of Africa golf director, treated Mogridge with a golf T-shirt and cap from the Pro shop.

Papenfus said, “We are pleased with Alexander, who is a former Eye of Africa winner, and our partnership with Mall of the South. It is only the beginning.”

Jason Viljoen, a professional golfer on the Sunshine Tour, was also spotted on the green at Eye of Africa taking a few swings. Viljoen won the Club Champion Men’s A Division in 2013 and 2015.

Mall of the South centre manager Hester Smith said, “We thank Eye of Africa Signature Golf Estate for their generous contribution and we look forward to future endeavours.”
