Children enjoy 67 minutes of fun at the Alberton Library

Their share for Mandela Day.

MANDELA Day 2017 was celebrated in a fun way at the Alberton Library on July 18. Members from the Library invited children to come and have fun for the day. They decorated one of the rooms in the library with late Nelson Mandela photos, information and quotes. Children got the chance to play with different toys, they dressed up as different people like doctors, nurses, chefs, police officers and fire fighters. There was also singing and dancing and the children loved every moment of it. Josephine Kidisang from the provincial libraries also attended the event. According to Hildegard Tshweu from Alberton Library, it was 67 minutes of learning, playing and singing.

The faces of the little ones building puzzles were absolutely incredible and it was that innocence of a child.
