What does marriage mean

Red carpet treatment awaited married couples at the Marriage Enrichment Indaba in Eden Park.

MARRIAGE is most definitely not for the faint-hearted, nor for those who think you can only take and never give.

On September 25, some 123 couples attended Eden Park’s first annual Marriage Enrichment Indaba at Eden Park hall. Pastor Luke shared information on marriages in general and a panel of four experts answered questions. They addressed issues married couples are faced with. The panel consisted of pastor Drumond De Villiers, life coach Natalie Danster-Abrahams, Marlin Wynkwaard and Ashley Theron.

But it was not all serious business – there were a couple of surprises in store. Prizes were awarded to the best dressed couple and some lucky draws were the order of the day.

Couples also enjoyed breakfast and lunch. They were also given the opportunity to walk the red carpet with their partners and share how they met, how long they have been married and to confess their love and commitment to each in front of the entire audience.

This indaba will now be an annual event and the next is already scheduled for September 24, 2018. More details will follow in the months leading up to the event.
