Former Brackenhurst councillor passed on

Alberton will miss a woman who has dedicated her life to helping others in everything she did.

BRACKENHURST – After being in hospital over the past months, former Ekurhuleni Ward 38 Councillor, Maureen Ansett died on Saturday November 2.

Ansett was passionate about the work she did as a councillor and later as part of the Ward Committee. She will be remembered for her passion to serve the community in any way possible.

After her stint in council, she continued to be actively involved at the Brackenhurst Library, Broken Wings and as a member of the Ward Committee.
