Sixty years of love and marriage
Today, they are still as in love as the day that they met.
ALMEIDA and Louise de Almeida will be celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary this December.
They met in Regents Park in 1956 and got married on December 14 the next year. Today, they are still as in love as the day that they met.
They resided in the South of Johannesburg but moved to Alberton 45 years ago. Almeida built many houses in Alberton over the years. He and Louise had one son, Fernando, and daughter-in-law, Corralie. They have two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and they consider themselves very blessed.
Louise said: “I attribute our successful marriage to working well as a team. Honesty, loyalty and serving the Lord are the pillars that keep our relationship so strong.”
“If I got a chance to marry again, I would choose Louise again and again,” said Almeida.
