Five injured after three vehicles collide

Accident on R59.

FIVE people sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate after three vehicles collided on Kliprivier by the R59 in Alberton on February 11.

When ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene at approximately 5pm, most of the patients were found seated in their vehicles. Upon further assessment, paramedics found five people who sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate.

It is believed that the third vehicle fled from the scene. ER24 and other medical services on the scene transported the patients to hospital for further medical care.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident were not yet known to our paramedics.
