THE first Mr Funtubbles in Gauteng opened up at The Glen Shopping Centre on March 9 with an array of brand new and fun rides for the whole family.
We spoke to the owner, Greg Christodoulou, who has opened this branch after the demand for a Mr Funtubbles in Gauteng has been high.
“Mr Funtubbles is not an arcade but more a family entertainment centre that we take much pride in. We love the parent and child interaction and that is the core of our business,” said Christodoulou.

With a children’s party room available in two hourly slots, Mr Funtubbles at The Glen is an all-around family destination. It is open seven days a week from 10am to 9pm on Mondays to Thursdays and from 9am to 11pm on Fridays and school holidays. On Sundays, it is open from, 9am to 9pm. The fun centre is located right next to Nu Metro, for bookings call 011 436 1260.
“The rides have come from reputable suppliers in the United States and Italy and are of the latest models available,” said Christodoulou.
Marketing assistant at The Glen Lindani Radebe spoke of how The Glen is excited for the new Mr Funtubbles to be at the centre.
“We did not have much entertainment here apart from Nu Metro and IJump, which is situated far apart at the mall but Mr Funtubbles is right next to Nu Metro which is convenient for parents who may want to go to the movies. The party area is an excellent bonus,” said Radebe.
