Help get April up and running

April, a petrol attendant at Engen Bracken City, is running in the Two Oceans marathon this month and needs your help.

MOKETE Mokeki, who mostly goes by the moniker April, is a petrol attendant at Engen Bracken Cty, and he will be running in the Two Oceans marathon this month.

April started running in 2014. He was encouraged to start by people who stopped by the store after their runs to grab a cup of coffee. April joined the Standard Bank Athletic Club and immediately started running seriously.

His first official race was the Soweto Marathon and he continued from there on out.

He is dedicated to his running and goes to various running events. All this he does on his own without any assistance. This requires strict budgeting from him.

April is leaving for the Two Oceans marathon on Wednesday, March 28, when he takes a bus down to Cape Town.

With April not having access to large funds, he is in need of both shoes and other pieces of kit such as tracksuits. Any assistance that can be granted to him will be greatly appreciated.

Anyone that wants to make a donation can contact April on 073 791 0489.
